6 Days Hiking in Bhutan

5 Nights 6 Days Hiking in Bhutan Highlights:

  • Discover some of the most sacred Buddhist monasteries and temples in the Himalaya.
  • See many cultural attractions including medieval fortresses (Dzongs), markets and museums.
  • Marvel at the elaborate and ancient wall paintings and carvings in Dzongs and temples.
  • Traverse beautiful landscapes from lush greenery to dense woods.

The six day trek is the most popular trek in the nation since it moves through a stunning all-natural landscape of blue pine woods, high ridges and pristine lakes while at precisely the exact same time offering the chance to go to some historical lhakhangs, dzongs and villages.

The Druk Path Trek can be a fairly simple hike to tackle as the distances between rest camps is rather brief. The road takes you through forests of fir, blue pine and dwarf rhododendrons in altitudes ranging from 2400-4200 m. On the next day hikers will arrive in Jimiling Lake, whose crystal clear waters are home to colossal trout.

This trek also provides hikers breathtaking views of Mt. Gangkar Puensum, the greatest unscaled summit on the planet. The most effective times to embark upon the Druk Path Trek are between March-June or even September-November.
