Bumdra Trek, trekkers will spend 2 or 3 days traversing the area around the Bumdra Temple. After driving to the trek point from your hotel, trekkers climb up to the temple and enjoy lunch and beautiful views. Higher up is the campsite and it is here that guests may learn why this trek is also called the “Trek of Thousand Dakinis (celestial female beings.)” Trekkers have the opportunity to explore the caves where the thousand dakinis had convened. 2 Days Bhutan Trekking Packages

Day 1: Arrive Paro – Thimphu

Upon arrival at the Paro International Airport, you will be received by our Guide and Driver. Drive to Thimphu after your visa clearance. Visit National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordhenma and Tashichhodzong before you finally retire for the night.

Day 2: Thimphu

Morning half day excursion to Tango Cheri Monastery. Afternoon visit , Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Zoo, Royal Textile Museum and General post office.

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha

Morning visit National Library, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Folk Heritage Museum and finally drive towards Punakha via Dochula Pass.

Day 4: Punakha – Phobjikha

Morning hike to Khamsum Yuelling temple and Punakha Dzong including the longest Suspension bridge (230 meters). After lunch proceed to Phobjikha, 3 hours drive.

Day 5: Explore Phobjikha Valley

Morning visit Gangtey Goempa monastery and Gangtey Natural Trail. Later part of afternoon visit Black Necked Crane Reserve Center.

Day 6: Phobjikha – Paro

Driver towards Paro visiting Semtokha Dzong, Tamchog Lhakhang and Rinpung Dzong. Later on visit Ta Dzong.

Day 7: Paro – Bumdra Trek (Luxury Camp)

After your early breakfast drive for 20 minutes to Sang Choekor Buddhist University in the Paro valley (2,800 m) and hike to a beautiful Yak pasture where we camp below Bumdra Monastery (3,800 m)

Day 8: Bumdra Monastery – Paro Taktshang – Paro

Hike downhill from Bumdra Monastery camp via Zangto Pelri Monastery and Taktsang Monastery.

Day 9: Depart Paro.

After breakfast depending upon your flight schedule you will be dropped at Airport for your onward journey.
